QUICK SURVEY: Please take our quick 5-minute survey on snaring of wild animals in Wales. Just click here to go straight to the survey.

Hi Friend,

Recently, the Welsh Government has announced its intention to ban snaring of wild animals in Wales.

Snares are notorious for causing unnecessary suffering, injury, or death to the targeted animals as well as non-target species. The use of snares can lead to unintended consequences, such as capturing non-target animals, including domestic pets.

This Spring and Summer, AWIP Investigators will be out in the countryside investigating wildlife criminals who are using snares and traps illegally.

We want to understand the public's perception of snaring and trapping in Wales. To do this, we need your help by asking you to take our quick 5-minute survey.

Here's the first question: Are you aware that the Welsh Government recently announced its intention to ban snaring of wild animals in Wales?

I've heard about it, but I don't know the details
