Puppy farming is an inhumane practice that subjects dogs to cramped, unsanitary conditions and denies them the love and attention they deserve. Sadly, reports of illegal puppy farming have risen almost five-fold in England in the last decade. And 1 in 4 perspective pet owners – 5.2 million people – admit to doing no research at all on breeders.

Dogs shipped to the UK endure over 12 hours without food or water. There are over 2,000 unsafe breeding establishments in Wales alone. It is estimated that 80,000 dogs are sold each year as part of the country’s puppy trade.
