Our colleagues in the Philippines are at the scene of a mass animal abandonment. Over 50 animals have been dumped on an island off the coast of Cebu City.
They are working to assess the situation and have already removed a litter of puppies with their mother. The puppies are in a critical condition.
The puppies were found dying on the ground. They are now safe and being cared for, but they are severely underweight and need urgent medical attention.
But there are more dogs like these puppies waiting to be rescued on the island. We cannot say no because we lack the funding. It is not an option. We need your help to cover the costs of this rescue operation and make it possible.
