URGENT: Investigation reveals SICK PUPPIES sold at FLEA MARKET!

Dear Friend,
Meet Sofia, a pitiful victim of the illicit puppy trade in Eastern Europe. We found Sofia shivering in a tiny, barren cage in an open flea market in Poland.
Investigators from Animal Welfare Investigations Project (AWIP) over the weekend conducted an undercover operation on a flea market in Eastern Poland, an international destination for puppy smugglers.
Investigators noticed a puppy dealer selling beagle puppies from the side of the road. I knew we had to take a look closer at these puppies, Friend.
When investigators approached the puppy dealer, we found Sofia – an underweight beagle puppy – shivering in the corner of her cage. I am sure you would agree, Friend, puppies should not be sold on the street.
During the conversation with the puppy dealer, we identified that the paperwork was falsified, and that the dealer was willing for us to take Sofia – an 8-week-old puppy – to the UK. The dealer recommended that we use a particular veterinarian to falsify the EU Pet Passport.
I knew that we needed to launch an investigation on the puppy dealer, so I rescued Sofia immediately.
When I picked up Sofia from her cage, I could feel her hip and rib bones. I noticed an infected eye which looked sore and painful. Her stomach was swollen, which is what I would normally see in puppies with a worm infestation.

My team and I took her to a veterinarian immediately. Upon examination, Sofia was found to be suffering from an infected eye, umbilical hernia, and a flea and worm infestation. Our nightmare was confirmed – Sofia was likely to have been raised on a remote puppy farm in Eastern Europe.
Thankfully, Sofia was rescued, and she is experiencing the best start in life with her new family. But, Friend, many puppies like Sofia and their mothers are waiting to be rescued from the cruel puppy trade.

My team and I are preparing a case file for prosecution against the puppy dealer that we investigated at the market. Investigations and prosecutions cost thousands of pounds. Friend, my team and I do not believe that you can put a price on justice.
We need your help today to rescue more puppies like Sofia and bring illicit puppy farmers to justice. We need to reach a fundraising goal of £2,500 to launch a full-scale operation and prosecution. Can you make a donation towards our £2,500 target?
Thank you for everything you are doing for animals. Together, we will end puppy farming.
For the animals,
