The UK's lobbying group for the animal experimentation community - 'Understanding Animal Research' (UAR) - have publicly agreed, via twitter, to participate in the first properly moderated public scientific debate, as called for by Parliamentary EDM 263 and this supporting petition. Britain's leading human rights defence lawyer Michael Mansfield QC - currently representing the Hillsborough families - has endorsed as "well set out and fair" the debate's conditions.
