Denise Atkins started this petition to Animal Care Uzumlu

On Boxing Day, 26th December 2018. Two trucks were seen passing through our small village in Turkey.

The trucks contained about 45 dogs, rounded up by Seydikemer Council a town not far from Uzumlu.  The trucks proceeded to carry on through our village and dumped all the dogs, including old, sick, nursing mums and puppies in a remote village, where they would had certainly died from starvation and cold.

Lucky that these trucks were spotted and intercepted and the dogs were rescued.

This is a complete failure of a town not providing basic care for their street dogs, which is against Turkish law.

Our local charity ACU (Animal Care Uzumlu) are asking for people to sign this petition so we can present the feelings of horror and upset how people feel. It must not be allowed to happen again.

PLEASE DO NOT DONATE FROM THIS PAGE, WE HAVE A GOFUNDME AND PAYPAL ACCOUNT, PLEASE CONACT ME FOR DETAILS IF YOU WISH TO DO SO.

Thank you
