The Trump administration has increased the production speed of poultry while trying to eliminate speed limits on pork processing. Due to Trump’s trade war, Mexico and China have slowed down their consumption of U.S. chicken and now there is a surplus of it.

The speeding up of these meat processing plants will increase the likelihood of potentially deadly contamination of meat for consumers as well as in increase of accidents to the workers of these plants. 

All of this could also cause taxpayers more money going to pay these producers for there wasted meat surplus as well as poisoning the public and causing workers harm.
