** If you have not read my last update, please do!**
As we continue our fight for justice for Breonna Taylor, I want to thank all of the supporters of this petition who have fought with me thus far. Please do not lose focus. This fight is not over.
Nearly 2,000 people have donated to the crowdfunder to help us fight to push for the Justice for Breonna Act to pass in Congress -- billboards are currently going up, all over Kentucky, calling on politicians to put the bill on the Senate floor (photo attached). We have raised over $77,000 -- 100% of the money donated will go into the campaign for the Justice for Breonna legislation. If you wish to donate, here is the link:

You did that. We did that.
If this bill passes in Congress, no-knock warrants will be federally banned -- and no one will have to die the way Breonna did, ever again. Please, please, please, call your state representatives and senators and ask that they support the Justice for Breonna Act.
Furthermore, I am adding another demand to the petition: Breonna deserves a new grand jury. I demand the assignment of a new prosecutor and a new grand jury hearing.
As the testimonies of the jurors involved have emerged in recent weeks, it is clear that Daniel Cameron did not do his duty. He did not deliver justice, he did not enforce the law. Clearly, his partisan interests and position in the GOP have negatively impacted his ability to fulfill his responsibilities as an officer of the Constitution.
Lastly, I want to tell every signer of this petition that your voice matters. I understand that the way our political system works often drowns out the opinion of the people, but understand this: our power is in numbers, and when we band together, our power is limitless. I still believe in our government, I still believe in our democracy, and I still believe in justice. I hope that you do, too.
On October 13th, a major city in Colorado -- Aurora, CO -- voted to ban no-knock warrants by police. Your voices are being heard. Your support means the world, and it is effective.
As always, Justice for Breonna Taylor, today, tomorrow, and forever.
