**THERE IS A CALL TO ACTION AT THE END OF THIS UPDATE. IF YOU SKIP EVERYTHING ELSE, PLEASE READ THE LAST PORTION OF THIS UPDATE. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT**

With all of my heart, thank you to everyone that signed and shared the White House petition for Breonna.

The petition has met the threshold of signatures needed in order to be placed into a queue of issues for the White House/Congress to address -- however, we must continue to increase the number of signatures on the petition in order to place Breonna's case at the front of the queue. We must communicate to the government that her case is urgent and of importance to the American people. Please, please, please, continue to sign and share the petition -- I still need all of your support. Please do not give up on Breonna.

As always, I want to be transparent through this process. The White House is required, by law, to respond to the petition within 60 days of meeting the required threshold. When the White House responds, I will share the congressional response to the petition with all of you. With luck, we will gain the support of members of Congress, and hopefully increase pressure on officials in Kentucky. Perhaps even more importantly, Senator Rand Paul's bill to federally ban no-knock warrants will be passed in Congress. It is extremely important that signatures on the petition continue to increase --YOU MUST KEEP SHARING IT. Again, here is the link:

Lastly, I have a call to action for every signer of this petition. What we need is congressional support on the federal level. CALL AND EMAIL YOUR US SENATOR AND HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE. There are signers from all 50 states on this petition -- I need ALL OF YOU, from ALL 50 STATES, TO CALL AND EMAIL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES. Make them aware of both the Change petition, as well as the White House petition. Make it known that you, a constituent of their district, want Breonna's Law to pass as a federal bill. Ask your Congressman/woman to publicly speak in support of Breonna.

Again, I thank everyone that has continued to support Breonna in these past months. While they have been difficult and tiring, I believe we can make change happen. Let's get justice for Breonna.
