My heart is heavy. It has been nearly four months -- we've received overwhelming public support, reached out to media to ensure Breonna's story was heard, created the centralized phone line to call Kentucky officials --- yet, I've reached out to the offices of the Governor and Attorney General, and continue to be ignored. 

Breonna Taylor deserves justice. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Breonna Taylor was an American hero; most importantly, she was a person. Her life mattered. 

After outrage and protests, we've seen some form of justice for George Floyd, for Rayshard Brooks, for Ahmaud Arbery -- I hope that we continue to see justice for the families of all victims of police brutality, and I pray that Breonna's death will not continue to be overlooked and ignored by Kentucky officials. 

Please keep calling and emailing. Breonna deserved so much more than what she got. 

And if the Attorney General somehow sees this: you cannot keep ignoring me, you cannot keep ignoring the American public. Fire, charge, and arrest the officers responsible. We want an honest, transparent investigation now. You cannot blatantly ignore the people you serve, and you cannot allow such blatant disrespect for life continue within the Louisville Police Department. The people of Kentucky put you in that office and they will take you out. 

As for the Governor -- this petition has ten times the number of signatures than the number of people who voted for you in 2019. Respond to the petition. Do your job. The demands are clear.
