On August 26th 2018 Delaney's little body was brutally attacked and beaten by someone who WE ALL should be able to trust, feel safe with, and love unconditionally as a little girl! Someone who should be our protector, our hero, our strong hold!! HER  VERY OWN FATHER!  Delaney has a twin Irene who was a part of her! He actually killed both of them if you let that sink in! As twins have a special bond and love! Delaney was full of life, those who knew her fell in love with her from the very beginning of her life! She had a smile that lit up every room, a giggle that would make you giggle, determination as any toddler has, she was fierce with love, hugs, kisses, special ones with special people in her life! She would ride around on her GG's wheelchair and love and laugh at every ride!! She was her MEGAH''s gawjus gawl!! Delaney was so many personalities to so many people! On August 27th 2018 while her Mommy held her tight Delaney took her last breathe and  succumbed to the injuries caused by this MONSTER! Isn't it disgusting, unfathomable, and heinous how he wasn't there when she was born for her first breathe, and he was the reason for her last!!  Lives forever changed! He was a previous convicted felon, not only for assault, but for manufacturing of meth, in and out of trouble all his life!! He didn't know his own daughter the way that her Mommy , megah, GG, Aunt, Poppas and so many others knew her! Absolutely not! Why? Because he was locked up at their time of birth on FELONY CHARGES, and he had only been released months before her death!! Yesterday we go to court and our court system has a plea deal arranged with this MONSTER! So now it's time to have a voice for Delaney, for victims of brutal murders! It's time to change the law and this is why supporting this new law that we are going to fight for to be changed,   and signing this petition is so vitally important! We need to change the law so people like him, who have past felonies, assault or any open DSS cases for neglect, child endangerment, or a simple child abuse that they are NOT ENTITLED A PLEA DEAL!! Let me point this Penal law out if you will: A PERSON IS GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER IN THE FIRST DEGREE WHEN: 1) with INTENT  to cause serious physical injury to another person or of a third person. 

2) With INTENT to cause death of another person, he causes the death of such persons or of a third person under circumstances which do not constitute murder because he acts under the influence of of extreme emotional disturbance, as defined in paragraph (a) of subdivision one of  section 125.25! The fact that homicide was committed under the influence of extreme emotional disturbance constitutes a mitigating circumstance reducing murder to manslaughter in the first degree and need not be proved in any prosecution initiated under this subdivision!

(3) Being 18 years old or more and with intent to cause PHYSICAL injury to a PERSON "LESS THAN" ELEVEN YEARS OLD, THE DEFENDANT RECKLESSLY ENGAGES IN CONDUCT WHICH CREATES A GRAVE RISK OF SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY TO SUCH PERSON AND "THEREBY" CAUSES THE DEATH OF SUCH PERSON!! 

So NO! NONE OF THEM SHOULD BE CAPABLE OF A PLEA DEAL!  For Delaney's sake, families of loved ones, who have been tragically taken we urge you to pass a law so that no past felon can EVER PUT IN FOR A PLEA DEAL! WE URGE THAT LAW MAKERS PASS A LAW THAT WITH ALL EVIDENCE NEVER SHOULD A FAMILY FIGHT FOR FAIRNESS AND JUSTICE FOR THE MURDERED! WE ASK THAT  THEY BE SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON WITH NO CHANCE OF PAROLE!

Please upon considering this new law, take yourselves out of your current position  whether you're a judge, in law enforcement, legislation, or any kind of political position, and  PLACE yourselves in the hearts, minds and souls of the victims themselves, or victims families! Become a MOM, A DAD, A GRANDPA, A GRANDMA, AUNT, UNCLE, COUSIN OR FRIEND! BE YOURSELF WHEN CONSIDERING THIS LAW PLEASE!!
