MTA Committee Meeting Speech

Today was a major MTA Committee Meeting at 2 Broadway Street in one of the MTA Headquarters Buildings. I urged the MTA Board and the Committee itself to seriously invest a major amount of capital funding towards modernization, enhancements, and expansions of the Staten Island Railway. Ironically enough, one of the MTA folks expressed by saying "So what is the point of your statement?" I replied WE NEED A MASSIVE CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND EXPANSION PROGRAM FOR STATEN ISLAND TRANSIT!
