You may have read this week of atrocious, barbaric acts against sheep and pigs secretly filmed by hidden CCTV in a Staffordshire abbatoir. This camera was installed only after a tip off. Without this camera these acts would have carried on for years, like many have done, are doing..and will continue to. We need TOTAL TRANSPARENCY of what happens to animals in abbatoirs. 24 hour continuous CCTV of all quarters must be a daily requirement for such a place to operate. Please help stop this cruelty NOW! and pressurise the new Minister Andrea Leadsom to address this problem.
