DO NOT strip the RSPCA of it's power to prosecute

The Issue

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has questioned whether it is appropriate for the RSPCA to hold the powers to prosecute and this will now be debated in parliament. Essentially, they believe the power to prosecute should be handed over to the police/CPS. The CPS will put animal welfare cases to the bottom of the list when it sits alongside high-profile cases such as murder and rape.

Once we have enough signatures, I will contact Andrea Leadsom directly. Please sign and help us get there!

DO NOT PUT THE WELFARE OF ANIMALS FURTHER AT RISK.

LET THE RSPCA CONTINUE THE GREAT WORK THEY DO.

DO NOT TAKE AWAY THEIR POWERS!!!!!
