Más de unos pocos amigos extranjeros me han dicho recientemente que apoyan nuestra campaña, pero que no quieren firmar porque creen que podrían ser deportados por involucrarse en la política. ¡No hay que temer! Esta no es una petición política, más bien una petición ambiental. Y, en cualquier caso, no hay forma de que miles de extranjeros sean deportados solo por su amor a la naturaleza... México sigue siendo un país libre donde todos tienen derecho a una opinión. ¡VIVA EL RÍO LOS HORCONES!

More than a few foreign friends have recently told me that they support our campaign but don’t want to sign because they think they could get deported for involving themselves with politics. There’s no need to fear! This is not a political petition but rather an environmental petition. And at any rate, there’s no way that thousands of foreigners would get rounded up and deported just for loving nature… Mexico is still a free country where all have a right to an opinion. ¡VIVA EL RÍO LOS HORCONES!
