To Andi Pühringer, CEO of netzrezepte Technologies Pvt.Ltd.

We are in utter shock and dismay on the recent development at netzrezepte Technologies Pvt. Ltd (http://www.netzrezepte.de/). The sudden closure of the company without giving any notice or clearing the long pending salaries and without giving any compensation has left us mentally traumatized and frustrated.

In this regard, we would like to put forth the events of last few months and would like you to understand our critical situation which has caused great mental agony and has put our families and us in a deep financial distress.

Since three/four months prior to the closure of the company (16 Oct’15), our salaries were put on hold. The notice period was increased from one month to 3 month for most of the employees. A commitment of six months association with the company was ensured from a couple of employees by promising them to pay salaries between 10th-12th of every month. We were told to work hard and diligently to ensure the project deliveries on time. These all activities were done just to make the employees understand that the company will surely not close down.  As we always considered netzrezepte as our own company which holds employee rights above all, we gave our extra effort and worked hard, staying late nights, however without any rewards or receiving our paychecks.

We had conveyed the situation to the managing partners and were assured by them that our salaries will be cleared before Durga Puja, i.e. by 19th October 2015.

However, the uncertainty grew in the month of October 2015 as we were not receiving any clear confirmation on getting our salaries. The delay was beyond our sustaining limits by then and the festival of Durga Puja was also approaching. The Managing Partners had ensured that the pending salaries will be cleared before Pooja but they took a U-turn and started saying that company cannot pay at all. Finally, we sought the clarification from the HR on 15th – 16th October and asked to clear our dues before Durga Puja. However, to our horror and utter shock, we received the unexpected news in our official email on 17th October, that the company has shut down its operation with immediate effect.

All through these months (since the company stopped paying our salary), we worked just as dedicatedly as we used to work before. We even put extra effort, went extra mile as we believed our efforts will bear fruits. But never during these months were we alarmed of any possible closure of the company. We neither received any notice nor provided with any alternate employment option. The management betrayed all its promises and forced closed the company and left us without job or hope and in deep mental distress.

After all these suffering, now we are trying to negotiate with you to provide us with a fixed date to clear the pending salaries and compensate for the job loss. However, even here also we faced with the unwelcome approach. We are neither being given any specific date nor the exact amount. It is disheartening to see the company for which we worked with so much love and passion treating us with indignity and disrespect.

This sudden closure of the company has not only left us unemployed but also caused tremendous psychological trauma along with great financial liabilities and distress. We are not able to pay EMI’s for our bank loans, medical bills of our dependants or bear the day-to-day cost of living. Moreover, we are not able to cope up with our life in a normal manner.

Hence, we, the employees of netzrezepte Technologies Pvt. Ltd along with IT solidarity group Forum for IT Employees (F.I.T.E) demand that you must clear our due salaries and provide us compensation as per the government rule, at the earliest.
