You read that right. Contrasting Ancestry’s claim (See the screenshot), Ashkenazi and Sefardi Jews are Ethnic Jewish groups whose ancestors from after 586 BC(E) to 70 AD/CE began to be in the Jewish Diaspora. Sefardi Jews began establishing Diaspora communities before Roman Imperial Times, and Ashkenazi Jews have predominantly-Jewish DNA with Roman (Italian) DNA mixed in due to interrelationships (many not being consensual).
