The town has temporarily erected an ice skating rink at the covered bridge in downtown. This is a perfect example of what I’m trying to accomplish on a long term scale. Give children and adults some family friendly entertainment that’s easily accessible.  I’m an avid roller skater and drive 35 minutes 3-4 times a week to go to the Bristol Skateway. What I would give to have something like that right in Elizabethton.
