I can’t believe it - just a few hours ago I sat in Parliament watching the Senate debate Carly’s Law. The result is amazing - all sides of government are overwhelmingly supportive of it!! There’s a few details of the Bill for Carly’s Law some Senators want amended before it gets passed - but today was a huge step forward, and I can’t thank you enough for the role your support has played. The past 24 hrs have been crazy - flying into Canberra, holding a press conference with national media and meeting personally with Opposition Leader Bill Shorten for a cuppa to discuss his support for Carly’s Law. 90,000 of you support my petition, and now all key politicians are keen to work together on this Law to protect our kids from sick online predators. We are so close - and I’ll update you all once I’m back in Adelaide. Thank you so much, Sonya.
