CASH COMEBACK - Together, we are winning the war on cash

Hi Cash Lovers, 

Two weeks ago (14 September 2026) I sent a Cash Welcome Media Release to Australia's major media outlets saying cash discounts can legally replace card surcharges. 

What followed was a flurry of media stories about cash discounts replacing card surcharges. Now that card surcharges are banned, shops are offering cash discounts. Who would've thought?

We are not just influencing the debate, we are winning their war on cash - with facts and data and research.

"CASH IS KING" read the front page of the Hobart Mercury on Friday.

All over the media and social media, business and consumers are talking about going back to CASH!

This petition, this group of people, this campaign is saving cash in Australia.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. 

This campaign is just me (with your support) talking to the media, pushing back against the propaganda, and standing up for what we all thought was our birth-right - our right to choose legal tender.

The banks are continuing to close ATMs and branches. Ampol and other fuel retailers are continuing to open new servos that DON'T ACCEPT CASH!
