Over the past few weeks I have had the opportunity to share more about Amy's story with the media. Being given this time to talk helps to shines a light on the issue, and helps to increase the public's awareness and share their support.
I spoke with Sherele Moody on the podcast She Matters about the pain of watching Amy's vibrancy being stripped away over the one year Amy spent with Ethan. Being able to put a voice to this pain and trauma was liberating, Amy's death occurred over one day, but the suffering she was facing daily began when that relationship began. None of which was ever discussed in a court of law because of the minor charge he faced.

I also spoke with The Age about the trauma of being informed via telephone of my daughter's passing in another state. Sharing this grief is difficult, but I continue to speak out about this because my daughter no longer has a voice.
Following on from the article I spoke with ABC radio and discussed the reform we hope for and the response from government. Any coverage on this is good to keep it in the hearts and minds of all.
