Amtrak should create an extension to the Downeaster to serve either Rockland or Augusta, since Rockland has not seen passenger rail service since the demise of the Maine Eastern Railroad in 2015, and as for Augusta, it probably hasn't seen passenger rail service since the Boston and Maine Railroad ceased operations.
