Let the sun rise shine on the next generation of ranchers

As the sun rises, I cherish that over 100 years ago my Great Grandfather observed the sun rising over these same Hills. I am thankful he settled here and that our family still lives and grazes cattle on this ranch he built. I wish I had known him, but he is long gone and his thoughts and intentions hidden from me. So I think… what is it I want my great grandchildren to know or remember about me? I want them to know I loved this place, the outdoors and the animals in my care. I was proud to raise quality beef. That as I worked and planned, future generations that would enjoy these same sunrises were considered. Allow that sun to rise on another generation.
