Though American Eagle does cater to women of all sizes, it is still not fair that plus sizes and curvy jeans are not available in store. Instead, they are given free shipping online. While that is a trade off, it is still discriminatory and limits plus sized women. There are many drawbacks to shopping online such as wait time, inability try on the clothes, and it may make those women feel targeted and left out. The fact that their size isn't in store emphasizes that there's a difference and it could give some the sense of judgement and ridicule based on their body. As a group we have had situations when ourselves or someone we know was unable to purchase American Eagle jeans in the store. It's uncomfortable for them to know that they don't have the ability to do things that other girls can based only on their size. American Eagle as a company is very inclusive and thoughtful towards all women, so why can only a select few shop in their stores for jeans?
