The time has come to close the #HonestyAboutEditing campaign.

Not because it’s come to an end but because we’re just at the start of change.

Lawmakers are listening and on a wider basis than just body image concerns, which was the niche of the campaign but many of the dangers of modern day phones to young people.

The Safer Phones Bill has been introduced in the House of Commons by Labour MP Josh MacAlister OBE.

It directly reflects the concerns of the 150,000 parents who have fed into the drafting of this bill.

The bill is a significant step in the right direction. One that encompasses the concerns of the #HonestyAboutEditing campaign.

I won’t stop supporting the cause and am hugely proud of the conversations the campaign helped start, especially in the House of Lords. For now, traction is happening on a wider scale.
