Eating disorders can impact anybody & everybody.
On Monday evening, I am humbled and proud to say that I joined award winning campaigner, Hope Virgo, the School and Public Health Nurses Association (SAPHNA) and other experts to launch the first ever Eating Disorder Manifesto as well as a new school nurse toolkit.
Whilst produced with school nurses in mind, it is helpful for everyone. Please download your free copy here https://saphna.co/homepage/toolkits/eating-disorder-toolkit/
The stigma of eating disorders needs to be removed and many myths need to be busted. All of which the manifesto will help to do whilst focusing on everyone having timely access to support because no one should be dying of an eating disorder in 2022.
It was brilliant to see the support in the room on behalf of the House of Commons and House of Lords. We have also received support from members of both houses for the #HonestyAboutEditing campaign and the labelling of digitally edited content online and in the media.
Please do download the toolkit and share.
