THESE are the types of things owner occupied, family occupied, multi-unit, multi-generation homes need to be afraid of! Most homes around my neighborhood were built in the mid to late 1920's. Other homes around the city are even older dating back to early 1900's. If your property has not recently been gutted to the studs and rehabbed they're going to find violations and then what? You can't live in your own home? You'll be forced to pay heavy fines? On a property that you're not even renting??
