Update 10/13: Tennessee just proved state-by-state works

Big news from home — Shelbyville Times-Gazette reports TWRA will NOT appeal its court loss in the Open Fields case (Rainwaters v TWRA). Tennessee wildlife officers now must have permission or a warrant to enter private land. Tennessee courts rejected the federal 1924/1984 Open Fields doctrine under Article I Sec 7 of the Tennessee Constitution.

This is exactly why my petition stays Georgia-only. Georgia can do what Tennessee just did — amend our state constitution to abolish open field doctrine. Hee Haw, a 1-year-old donkey, was killed by DNR in his own pasture in Cedartown. That's why case 4:26-cv-00270-WMR matters and why we need 4th Amendment protection for private property. Thank you for signing — 1,608 and climbing.
