Too many horses, livestock, birds and even children are being burned or die as a result of these floating fireballs. Yes, they are pretty and a peaceful alternative to fireworks, but we have got to raise awareness and get them banned to prevent further suffering. Not to mention damage caused to farmland and crops, or even family homes that could go up in flames because of these lethal, cheaply made lanterns.
