The Conservatives on the Borough Council have decided to withdraw funding from Belper North Mill museum - in the heart of our World Heritage Site, from 2020.

Unless the council reverse this position they will have to survive on a small grant from the Town Council - the future of this wonderful museum - the only museum in Belper - is in jeapardy.

The Labour Party has commited to continue funding the museum at the current levels from 2020 - we think the Conservatives should make the same commitment and reverse their position, to secure the future of the museum.
