The problem is simple. Sweet, harmless Civets are being unnecessarily caged for the duration of their lives in order to mass produce coffee beans for consumers with discerning palettes. It is against the Civet's nature to live close to others of its breed. Living caged in close proximity to one another produces high levels of anxiety which induces the animals to chew their own limbs. The conditions of these poor animals is despicable. 

We call upon large retailers of this product, such as Amazon.com and Walmart to hold a higher standard for their suppliers and pledge to sell only Kopi Luwak/Civet coffee that has been collected in the wild.
