How Amazon responded when we exposed child s*x abuse dolls on the platform

We first exposed global eCommerce platform Amazon selling child s*x abuse dolls almost a year ago.
They ignored us. Then CEO Andy Jassy blocked us on X/Twitter.
When our campaign attracted national media attention, they finally responded – but they didn’t fix the problem.
A spokesperson for Amazon told media that child s*x abuse dolls had been removed from the platform. They hadn’t – they were still widely available.
Amazon claims “protecting children is a priority” and that the company has “strict policies … prohibiting the sale of s*x dolls with childlike appearances”.
Here’s the problem with that – policies are meaningless if they’re not enforced.
Even where some listings come down, new ones are regularly added. It’s a game of whack-a-mole.
We want Amazon to permanently get rid of ALL child s*x abuse dolls, and ensure they don’t come back.

Let’s send a message to Amazon that we’re not letting them get away with it.
