I turned my back for a few days and suddenly the petition is over 1,800.

This is really amazing you guys. Thank you so much for signing and sharing. 

Some of you may have heard that some media companies - NPR, PBS, HBO, and even Amazon Kids - have released some free material, or free temporary memberships, or things like that. 

I'm not about to assume that those are because of this petition, but I will say that I think it shows that this petition isn't a pipe dream. I think if we keep pushing, sharing, and signing the petition, we can get even more sources to temporarily open their media for people stuck at home. Anything you can do today to get this petition in front of more people can help. 

Thank you all so much. However this plays out, I hope you and yours are all safe and staying calm as best as you can.
