Inspired by real events, "Good Girls Revolt" follows a group of young female researchers in 1969 at a magazine interestingly titled "News of the Week".  They want equality in the workplace.  A movement develops and sparks changes in their lives including marriages, sex, careers and friendships.

We now live in a different era but the problems are still the same.

The show is very well written, with an awesome cast.
