
Hello Plastic Free Supporters-
As we all know, there is not currently an easy way to ask Amazon Customer Service to stop sending you items with excess plastic packaging. Most recently, I tried chat and was told that unfortunately, they cannot honor my request to ‘hold the plastic’ at this time.
Oceana has made it easier to get in touch directly and to send an email to Jeff Bezos to tell him you want to see a change in his company’s packaging and shipping options. Whether you still shop there or you never did, this change will dramatically impact our planet’s health. If you stopped shopping there because of the environmental impact, tell him that. We need every concerned citizen to be counted and heard. Please follow the link below on Oceana’s page and take a moment to email Mr. Bezos. We are hopeful he will listen:
