Plastic-free Family:

This petition was started because I know there is huge opportunity to reduce our damage to this planet by collectively revising the nonsensical practices we allow to persist. Small changes at meaningful scales can have massive impact. 

Kiss the Ground, narrated by Woody Harrelson, does an incredible job of explaining just how remarkable our living soil is and how and critical its  health is to our survival on this planet. Our soil has been widely overlooked as a solution to drawing down carbon emissions and the potential is very uplifting.

Please take a moment tonight or this week to watch this film on Netflix and learn more about this highly plausible solution to draw carbon back down into our soils.

Plastic packaging is a nonsensical practice we can impact but irresponsible food production and the depletion of our soils is another illogical practice we have the power to change. What's more, the two crises are not unrelated when you look at the industries driving chemical and plastic consumption. I look forward to hearing what you think of this film.
