Hey all my cat friendly folks!  Just thought I’d post a quick update to let everyone know how things are progressing… 

Like all things government the movement is slow but it’s moving in the right direction.  I’ve been able to make some good headway with city administration and they have given me a list of tasks to help ensure things will go our way when we officially present to city council.  The BIGGEST thing I keep getting told is how important public support is.  If we   Show the city that this is something their citizens truly care about then it makes things that much easier.  I’m diligently working on getting said tasks in place but again things go slow and we’re currently experiencing a changing of the guard in some city admin positions so the ordinance portion of things which should work in our favor so just need to be patient!!

So all that being said, we still need lots of public support yet so I’m going to humbly ask everyone to keep sharing and sharing this petition.  I know it may seem annoying (it certainly feels annoying) but with every share I’m seeing the needle move so I’m going to continue to be annoying!  Even after my last update we saw a bump in signatures. Probably because of all the amazing humans that will receive this update so for that, I thank you!
