My name is Alexandra, and I'm on the Civic Engagement team at Change.org. Our team works to connect petition starters and supporters with the public officials who have the power to act on the issues you care about. 

I spoke with the office of Commissioner Kathy Bryant regarding this petition about allowing tables and tents at Taqueria Las Catrinas in Marion County.

The team shared that vendors seeking to set up tables, tents, or other structures are required to apply for a Special Use Permit, which is handled by the Marion County Zoning Department. These applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on the property’s zoning and location.
