Thank you all for advocating for each and every child. We owe all people dignity and respect. By stepping up to ensure we see each student for who they are and wish to be, you are doing that.

I hear your concerns and have been in touch with our Board leadership about the issue.

The fact that this change has happened now is the result of factors separate from the Trump administration’s dehumanizing Executive Orders.

Unfortunately, services, including medical services, that are tied to Power School have been disrupted because of legal name status. This is very frustrating.

Our IT Director and other staff are trying to develop a workaround. If you, an affected family, or friend should need direct assistance, please contact administration or our Board: all-board@scasd.org.
