“I am getting my daughters in to see me but I feel that isn’t enough. This is quite a punishment. Please try and rectify this. Let me see my grandbairns, that’s all I want.

“It’s pure punishment not seeing your bairns. It’s terrible, terrible.”

“She really did feel strongly about it and was right behind the campaign for Anne’s Law. It wasn’t just for her own sake, but for everyone in care homes. She understood what an injustice was being inflicted.”

Annes Law is needed to stop the isolataion many care home residents are still enduring for many reasons!

Annes Law can help stop this , what it won’t stop is the many reatrictions still enforced on care home residents today -

- timed and pre booked appointments to see a wife, husband, mum, dad, grandparent!
- across the country grandchildren still seperated from grandparents
- families fighting to spend quality time with their dying relative after months of separation , sometimes only getting a few days with them before passing.

Mary was a fighter for so many and we are sorry to hear she is no longer with us but want to pay tribute to her bravery. ❤️❤️
