Repeatedly over the past two decades and especially over the past few years, rabid liberal democrats from outside of my home state of Louisiana and my home town of Lafayette have unleashed a vicious attack on our Acadian and Southern heritage. They first of all attacked our Catholic religion and Christian heritage.  They have tried to force their vile, perverted, despicable, loathsome, wicked depravity into our children from pre-school on up.  Their most recent insane act is to defame and desecrate the memory of my 4th great-uncle General Alfred Mouton's statue located in downtown Lafayette.  They have repeatedly defamed, libeled, and slandered my family, our heritage, and the General's memory and even called him a racist rapist.  They have attacked his father, Alexandre Mouton, the first Democrat Governor of Louisiana, and his grandfather Jean Mouton, who is renowned as the father and founder of Lafayette.  They have alleged that they were wicked racists, even though they both donated many millions of dollars worth of their own land and capital to establish courthouses, churches, schools, graveyards, etc. For the white, black, and the Jewish people of Lafayette,  To remove the General Alfred Mouton statue would be nothing less than an absolute travesty.  So, I urge you to please sign this petition as a sign that you stand for heroic Acadian nobility, honor, Christian decency, and the victory of Truth!   As per Proverbs 22:28  Remove not the ancient landmark!
