The UK government has announced that over 1000 people and organisations are now on the list of those whose assets we hope to identify and freeze. 750 are Russian individuals, the rest made up of corporations.  

Join me now in pressing for a complete seizure, and immediate sale, of those dubiously accrued assets by asking friends and family to sign our petition. These assets represent billions and billions of dollars that can be turned into liquid cash to assist the humanitarian effort required to support the Ukrainian people at their time of greatest need.

If we hesitate then before long those assets will be tied up in red tape and political compromise and will not help those who most need it.

Following release of our petition the other day my niece asked the question - Is it right for these oligarchs to have so much money whilst people around the world are starving?

That point can be debated forever in Western society but as we have now identified how many of these individuals acquired their wealth then the answer is clearly - NO.
