My Purple Brothers and Sisters.  I'm sure all of you have seen the request that Paisley Park sent out requesting a permit to allow Alcohol, smoking and other items to be allowed the week of The Super Bowl in 2018.  Now as members of the Purple Army I KNOW for a fact this doesn't sit well with us.  Paisley Park no matter how you look at it, is very special.  This is a location that Prince created so many masterpieces, not only his own but for countless other artists.  This is where he held concerts, benefits and those famous Parties for his fans/family.  On the permit request it has Paisley Park listed as a museum, which no doubt it is.  But to us...it is something mich more.  It is our sanctuary.  It is a place we can all go to when we need to feel just a bit closer to him.  Paisley Park is in our hearts as will our love for Prince.  As members of The Purple Army we will fight for the protection and uphold his legacy.  Signing this petition will bring notice to how much we care about the upkeep and preservation of this beautiful building.  By not allowing the use of alcohol which he clearly did not approve of, or allowing individuals to smoke inside the complex which may result in smoke or fire damage to the countless items and artifacts inside that are held so close to our hearts.  With that please sign this petition.  Paisley Park is in your Heart.
