The Latest thing America is offended by today, is the Statue of Kate Smith that is housed outside the Wells Fargo Center. Somebody has reached all the way back in the 30s, and found a song with racist sounding lyrics. Instead of looking into the song in question, the organization jumped to conclusions and promptly removed the statue. The song in question was NOT written by miss Smith, nor was the lyrics meant in a racist way. It was written by a black man, and also sung as a duet with a black man, and meant as satire. Let’s push back against PC agenda, and not lose sight on the TRUE meaning of what Kate Smith represented. Enough is enough . Let’s show the organization they made a disrespectful and WRONG decision!
