The Poaching Culture is alive and well in the US.

If one were to peruse many State Wildlife Departments' social media pages, one would see comments from the Poaching supporters advocating killing wildlife with an emphasis upon Predators, if one were to follow news stories concerning poachers who have been arrested one would often see the poachers receiving minor penalties.

The culture that supports such behavior is wrong, there needs to be stronger penalties for illegally killing our wildlife and we also need to take the supporters of poaching to task.

This petition will be sent to all 50 State Governors, all 50 State Departments of Fish & Wildlife and the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

We, the undersigned, request increased penalization for poaching ranging from: forfeiture of any equipment used in the crime, life long bans from hunting in the US, life long bans for importing Hunting Trophies from other countries, significant fines (starting at $10,000), incarceration (starting at 3 months) and they must participate in either a State or Federally recognized Hunting Class that focuses upon ethics (at their cost).

We, the undersigned, request suspending the hunting privileges of Poaching supporters for a minimum of 3 years, banning of their importation of Hunting Trophies from other countries and they must participate in either a State or Federally recognized Hunting Class that focuses upon ethics (at their cost).

We, the undersigned, request a significant increase in anti-poaching enforcement measures at both the State and Federal levels to help combat the ongoing theft of our wildlife.
