All first nation people support Turrbal peoples an we against the Olympic stadium QLD

AN URGENT DECLARATION FROM THE SOVEREIGN CUSTODIANS OF THIS LAND.!
Addressed to the United Nations, the Federal Government of Australia, the Queensland State Government, and the International Olympic Committee.
Next month—in less than 4 weeks—the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the rights of Indigenous Peoples, Dr. Albert K. Barume, will arrive in Australia. His official mandate is to ensure that First Nations people's human rights are protected and upheld under the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
We are officially calling on the UN delegation to head straight to Brisbane, Queensland. They must witness a massive ongoing violation of international law and see exactly why the proposed Olympic Stadium must not be built on a highly sacred, unceded site.
🌾 The Sacred Lore of Barrambin (Victoria Park)
The chosen site is a highly sacred area of deep Lore, not only for the Turrbal and Yuggera people but also as a traditional inter-tribal gathering place. Barrambin is where all the different First Nations country groups of that area have always come together for meetings, Lore, and ceremonies.
The Rainbow Serpent: This is where the Rainbow Sea Serpent, Kabul, travelled through the landscape and carved paths with life-giving waters, creating the river to bring fresh water and sustaining the Turrbal people for countless generations.
The Seven Sisters: The reason this area is known as the "place of wind" is because it is the sacred site where the Seven Sisters jumped and ascended into the sky to escape the warrior—a mystical journey of immense spiritual significance.
The Trans-Continental Songline: The Barrambin songline connects all the way west across the continent to the Pilbara region, where the very first Lore began. This land is as alive with history and spiritual vitality as it is crucial to the identity and tradition of its original custodians.
⚠️ A Violation of International Law and a Warning to Those in Power
The decision by the Queensland State Government, with backing from the Federal Administration under Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, to push forward with building an Olympic stadium on this sacred site is not just inconsiderate—it is a deep wound to all Indigenous Australians. It is a painful echo of the historical disregard our ancestors faced, something we cannot and will not let pass.
By pushing this project forward without the genuine consent of the Traditional Owners, the Australian government is in direct breach of Article 11, 12, and 25 of UNDRIP, which explicitly guarantee our right to maintain, protect, and manifest our cultural, spiritual, and religious sites.
destruction. There are vast opportunities across Brisbane for this development that do not involve desecrating sacred sites.
We ask that the stadium be built somewhere else. If the decision goes ahead and this stadium is built on such a high-Lore sacred site, the ground will be spiritually compromised. The ground will be cursed, and many bad things will happen to the people who enter it. Please, build it somewhere else. Corporate entertainment must never take priority over thousands of years of sacred Law.
