Yesterday night I spoke with the Accessibility Advisory Committee. I talked to them about our experience as caregiving parents when we visit city of Ottawa parks. The committee does good work around the city so hopefully my comments will help make parks more inclusive. Currently, parks follow the minimum requirements from the AODA standards. Unfortunately, the AODA standards are not inclusive enough for kiddos like Laurence.
