Support our appeal for a fair National Mineral Policy

Friends, Thank you for your support. The Supreme Court, after a discussion on Intergenerational Equity, has asked the Government to review its national mineral policy. The Government has set up a Committee to draft a new policy. This is a unique opportunity to have intergenerational equity placed at the heart of our nation's mineral policy. Goa Foundation, mines, minerals & People, Common Cause and the Goenchi Mati Movement are asking all of India's civil society to send in their representations to the Committee on this issue. We have a draft letter that you can download, edit, sign and email (preferred option). Alternatively, organisation can also sign-on to a joint letter that will be sent to the Committee.
