First off I would like to thank everyone for all the support this petition has received. I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished and the petition continues to grow each day. I love everybody who took the time to sign and share this petition and ask you all to encourage your friends and family to do the same.

I have a little update for you all. As previously stated I sent out letters addressing our concerns about animal testing for cosmetics in Canada. I sent the letters to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the minister or innovation, science and industry François-Philippe Champagne, minister of justice David Lametti, minister of environment and climate change Jonathan Wilkinson and MP Cathy McLeod. I was very hopeful for a response and my was reassured when I received a response from the prime ministers office. I was expecting that animal testing would fall under the ministry of innovation, however in the letter I was informed that it would actually fall under the ministry of health. They took the liberty of forwarding on my letter to the minister of health. Once again I am hopeful to receive a response especially from the minister of health and I will post an update with any new news.
