It has been 20 long days since Ismail Alwahwah was arrested by the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate (GID) upon arriving in Amman.

Ismail is still yet to face any charges nor are there any indications that he would be released soon, in a country where it is normal to lock people up for many more months without charge.

Ismail is also still prevented from taking the vital insulin injections he had been taking on a daily basis for 3 decades.

There has been utter silence by the Australian Government officials in relation to the arrest, despite numerous correspondence sent to the Foreign Minister, as well as with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trading (DFAT).

It is totally unacceptable to be in this same position 20 days later.  What is to say that we would not be in the same position 20 days later from today?!
